Lessons currently suspended
Following the imposition of Tier 4 restrictions, and the rapidly changing position we find ourselves in, we have taken the decision to suspend all lessons for the time being.
Your continued support is truly appreciated and we miss seeing you!
Thank you to everyone who has supported the school by taking part in our Zoom sessions, or contributing via the ongoing optional retainer fee.
We are excited about the prospect of getting back together in the studio as soon as we can, and we’re already working on our plans for a return.
We will send out another text broadcast as soon as we have more news to share with you.

We’re back in the studios for some workshop sessions!
Following the most recent changes to guidelines, we are pleased to be able to let you know that we have planned some studio based workshops in the lead up to Christmas. Of course, we will be taking extra care to ensure that we fit in with the Covid-19 regulations, so that we can maintain a safe environment whilst allowing us all to get back to a little of what we love! Update date: Friday 6th November 2020
We have now set up a timetable of Zoom sessions which will run from Monday 9th November through to the end of term
– please click here for more details of how you can join, or support our school in other ways.
Update date: Sunday 1st November 2020
As you will be aware, yesterday the government announced a four-week lockdown which is expected to start on Thursday 5th November.
Sadly, this lockdown specifically includes Dance Studios, so we have taken the decision to suspend all our studio-based lessons with effect from today (Sunday 1st November).
We know that this news will be really disappointing for our students, but please be assured that during the coming week we will be working hard to set up a temporary timetable of Zoom based lessons (hopefully commencing Monday 9th November), and will provide further info on this as soon as it is available.
As the situation develops, we will look at every opportunity for enjoying our dance and getting back to face to face sessions as soon as we are allowed.
We will share any updates with you via our Facebook page, and on the website www.laurawilsonschoolofdance.co.uk
Please note: Ballet exams which were scheduled to take place in December will be postponed until the new year.
