Workshop sessions for age 3 to 5 on 17th April
We’re all hoping that the timetable for lifting restrictions goes to plan, and so we are organising some “Dance the Story” sessions at the studios for younger (age 3 to 5) children on Saturday 17th April, with a choice of two session times; 10:00 to 10:45 or 11:00 to 11:45.
We are also organising a series of Dance workshop sessions for school-age students, which will run at the studios from Monday 12th to Friday 16th April – CLICK here to go to the school-age page
Dance the Story – for ages 3 to 5…
With over 20 years of experience of teaching dance to preschool children, Laura has developed her “Dance The Story” approach which helps a child to build their ability and confidence in story telling using movement, music and expression. Laura says” Our Dance the Story sessions are designed to Ignite the children’s imagination with freedom of their own expression. In each session, we explore a story through movements and rhythm; bringing the narrative of the story to life with personal expression.”
The session fee for Dance The Story is £12
Please be aware that it is essential to register and book in advance, and that spaces will be limited. Registered students of LWSD will of course be given priority booking.
It will not be possible to just arrive on the day without a booked place.
Please use the form below to request your places, and once your place is confirmed, you will be asked to pay the fee online or via a named envelope on the day.
For the workshops, students should arrive at the studios in appropriate dance wear, and should bring a drink with them. Please note that in line with our current Covid-secure operation, parents will not be able to wait at the studios during the session.
